We have 2 classes, being the toddler group (2 -3 year group) and the pre-schoolers (4-6 year group). Each month we explore a different theme and have a structured curriculum per theme. Here is the basic structure offered per class:
Toddler Class:
- Nursery Rhymes
- Arts and crafts
- Shapes , colours
- Building with blocks
- Peg boards
- Picture Books
- Story Time
- Personal hygiene (washing hands, cleaning face, brushing hair, brushing teeth)
- Bathroom etiquette (washing hands)
- Potty Training
- Eating etiquette (using cutlery, washing hands before and after eating)
Pre-School Class:
- Arts and crafts
- Writing skills
- Basic reading and comprehension
- Basic Maths
- Fine motor skills
- Madrassa education (muslim students)
- Extra mural activities (charged separately)
All classes receive progress reports bi-annually (June and December). Should you wish to setup a meeting to discuss your child(ren)’s progress, this can be arranged with Mrs Petersen and the class teacher.
